I few weeks back, I decided it was a good time to trash the things I haven't worn in a decade... t-shirts from way back when I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch (early 2000's), random free t-shirts, beaten up shoes.
While those things still sit in bags in my living room (hey, at least they're in bags)... I already started buying new things. I can't resist a great sale.
Against my better judgment, I went shopping today. I didn't spend too much money, but I *had promised myself I I'd start saving.
So off to Scottsdale I went. Madewell is offering 25% off all their sale items. I found a perfect pair of taupe suede skimmers, marked down to $39.99... so I couldn't pass those up. Adorable. Then I found a silver-tone bracelet, marked down to $19.99. I'd rather supplement the great items I already have in my closet with good accessories.
Oh, yeah.... also went to Urban Outfitters. They have a lot of great leather sandals and flats right now, so I got a pair of strappy black flat peep toes. I also found a cute owl-print v-neck t-shirt that will look great with black pants and red flats.
Now that I've scratched my itch to shop... I better wait before I buy anything else.
My goal is to piece together more adult and creative outfits for work.
